PIZZA HUT CAYMAN
Privacy Policy
How we use your information when you browse, place an order or contact your local Hut.
Last updated: 11 October 2026
Who this policy covers
This policy applies to Pizza Hut Cayman’s website, pizzahutcayman.com, and information provided through its online ordering service for our West Bay Road and Savannah restaurants. “We”, “us” and “our” refer to Pizza Hut Cayman for this service.
Information used for your order
We collect the details you provide at checkout or when contacting us, including your name, telephone number, email address, delivery address, order notes, selected restaurant, fulfilment method, purchased items and customisations. Order records can include amounts, transaction references, payment status and refund history.
If you create or use an account, your account details and order history are also processed. The website and its service providers may record technical information such as IP address, browser type and security or error logs. Please avoid including unnecessary personal or sensitive information in order notes.
Why we use information
We use your information to prepare and fulfil orders, arrange delivery or pickup, send order updates, respond to enquiries, manage payments and refunds, maintain accounts, prevent misuse and meet record-keeping obligations.
These activities support our contract with you, applicable legal obligations and legitimate interests in operating and protecting the service. Where consent is needed for an optional activity, you can withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing. Order communications are separate from promotional messages; you may ask us to stop direct marketing.
Who receives information
Information needed to fulfil an order is available to the relevant restaurant and, for delivery, the people delivering it. Website hosting, technical support and payment providers may process information needed for their services. We may also disclose information where required by law or needed to resolve a payment dispute.
Online payment services process payment details under their own terms and privacy notices. Do not send card numbers, security codes or account passwords to a restaurant in an order note or enquiry.
Storage, retention and security
Order, payment and support records are retained for as long as needed to fulfil orders, resolve enquiries or disputes and meet applicable accounting and legal obligations. Account information is kept while the account is in use and as needed for those purposes. A request to delete information may not remove records we must retain.
We use reasonable safeguards and restrict access according to service needs. No online service can guarantee complete security. Service providers may process information outside the Cayman Islands; applicable data protection requirements and appropriate safeguards must be observed for international transfers. Contact us if you need details about providers or overseas processing relevant to your information.
Cookies and external services
Cookies and similar storage support the shopping cart, checkout, account sessions and preferences. If you choose Use my current location for delivery and allow browser access, your device coordinates are sent to Photon (operated by komoot) to suggest an address using OpenStreetMap data. The provider also receives the request and IP address and may process these outside the Cayman Islands under its privacy practices. We do not continuously track your location. The detected address can be edited before ordering; its final submitted details become part of the order. You can decline location access and enter your address manually. Read our Cookie Policy for more information. If you follow an external link or use a third-party service, that provider’s privacy notice also applies to its processing.
Your privacy rights
Subject to the Cayman Islands Data Protection Act and applicable exceptions, you may request access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate information, or that processing be stopped or restricted. You may ask us to stop direct marketing and raise concerns about automated decisions. Requests to erase information are considered alongside any obligation to retain it. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
Contact either restaurant and ask for your request to be directed to the person responsible for privacy. You can also complain to the Cayman Islands Ombudsman.
